Back to School Carnival: Offered each August, we celebrate the beginning of school with a variety of games, food and inflatables...and it is FREE!

Youth Summer Camps:  Offered throughout the summer at Gateway Retreat Center, children participate in life-changing days of recreation, teaching, and fun!

Movie Nights: Periodic events for children and their families featuring new children’s video releases.

Text Box: Early Childhood— Ages 2-Kindergarten The Apple Orchard: age 2 by Sept. 1 The Orange Grove: age 3 by Sept. 1 The Strawberry Patch: age 4 by Sept. 1 The Grape Vineyard: Kindergarten Sunday Morning: 8:45 a.m.: Children are taught using a traditional Sunday School curriculum. 10:00 a.m.: Children enter the Fruit of the Spirit Creative Center Time where they experience God’s love through the use of all their senses. Age appropriate creative activities are available and a relaxed atmosphere is enjoyed. 10:30 a.m.: Children are further taught about Jesus through our Application Hour. The story is repeated and reinforced with learning activities, songs, and play. Wednesday Nights (Sept-June): 7:00 p.m.: Children are taught a Bible lesson, and given craft and play opportunities. Text Box: Nursery — Birth-24 Months Seedlings: Infants Sprouts: Toddlers Our nursery is staffed on Sunday mornings by volunteers on a rotating monthly schedule. Wednesday evening childcare is provided by students attending Greenville College. Childcare is provided for all services and most special events sponsored by the church. Check in/out: Parents are asked to sign their children in and out, at which time they will receive a pager allowing the parents to be called if necessary. The Sunday School Curriculum used in the toddler nursery focuses on God’s love and care for each of us. Text Box: Grade School— grades 1-5 Sunday Mornings: 1st hour (8:45 a.m.): Children experience an age appropriate worship service, Kids Church, where kids participate in praise & worship, prayer, and a lesson taught through games, skits, puppets, media and more. Kids’ Café: Between services, kids are offered a small snack at our Kids’ Café while they are encouraged to socialize, play games or watch a Christian music video. 2nd hour (10:30 a.m.): Children attend the Second worship service with their parents before dismissing to our traditional Sunday School. Wednesday Nights (Sept-June): 7:00 p.m.: Skills, Drills, & Thrills: Teaching Children Bible skills using a fun format through games, crafts, recreation, service projects, drama, music, computer games, and more!

Other Opportunities

Grade School Choir (Sept. –May) : Meets on Sunday nights during the school year and regularly participates in our adult worship service.  The choir also produces seasonal musicals.

Club 4/5: A social outreach club for grades 4 and 5.  They have 2-3 social events a year.

Young Believers:  Available for grades 3-5 and their parents.  Young Believers Step 1 and 2 are  6 week courses offered in the Fall and Spring.  This introduction to Christianity and discipleship covers salvation, baptism, communion and a survey of the Bible.
