Greenville Preschool
 The
Greenville Preschool believes each child is a unique individual
created by God. We believe preschool children can understand the
love that Jesus Christ, God's son, has to offer each one of them.
We want children to understand God knows each of them and desires
to be a part of their life.
Our purpose is to help each child grow and develop at his and her
own rate - physically, mentally, socially, and spiritually - within
a structured, yet loving, Christian environment.
Because the early years of a child's life are the most formative
and conducive to learning, we try to provide an environment suitable
for enriching growth and spiritual development. We combine Bible
stories, songs, memory verses, spontaneous play, and educational
experiences to teach them Christian moral values and provide a rich
foundation for spiritual, moral and mental development.
Greenville Preschool is operated under the direction of an independent
Board of Directors, elected by the Free Methodist Church. The church
provides the facilities, utilities, and operates the entire program
on a nonprofit basis. Greenville Preschool is a state-licensed,
insured facility.
Preschool Staff
Tara Faulkner
Head Teacher
Tara has a degree in Elementary Education and holds an Early Childhood
teaching certificate and has previous preschool teaching experience.
Her husband is the Athletic Director at Greenville College and they
have two children.
Carla Reinhard
Assistant Teacher
Carla has a B.S. in Elementary Education and is certified by the
State of Illinois. Carla's husband is the Softball Coach at Greenville
College and they have three children.
Dawn Pennington
Assistant Teacher
Dawn has a B.A. in Psychology from Trinity College. Dawn's husband,
Greg, teaches psychology at Greenville College. They have three
children.
Eligibility
- Threes: Any child who will be three years of age before September
- Fours & Fives: Any child who will be four years old before
September. Five-year-olds accepted if not in Kindergarten.
- Medical exam required.
