Worshiping Christ

As Christians, we find our significance as we experience God’s presence through worship and live all of life as though it were the worship of God. We would love to have you join us as we Worship Christ in the Sanctuary on Sunday mornings. Worship services typically last 60-75 minutes and include music, a sermon, and prayer. Communion is served on the first Sunday of every month, and all who want to know more of Jesus are welcome to participate. We also have prayer partners available at the front of the sanctuary after every service who are ready to confidentially pray with you for whatever you need. Walking with Christ

Discipleship is the process of embracing life with Jesus Christ and being transformed into his likeness. Here at Greenville Free Methodist Church we believe that discipleship is a lifelong process that is done best within Christian community. We are passionate about helping children, teens, and adults do that. We offer Wednesday evening and Sunday morning Walk with Christ spiritual growth opportunities, as well as mid-week Small Groups for all ages, as ways for people to grow deeper in Christ and get connected within the body of our church family.   

Working for Christ

We believe that “The grass in the ‘Ville will only grow Green if it is well watered with Jesus.” 

To that end, we desire to see every believer’s gifts being discovered, developed, and deployed for Kingdom service as we Work for Christ to meet needs and to connect people with the love of Jesus.  To further each individual’s spiritual development, we believe it is important to ‘work out our faith’ by serving others.  Through our partnerships with various ministries, we offer opportunities to serve down the hall (within the church), around the corner (throughout Greenville and Bond County), and around the world. 

Witnessing to Christ

As we experience God’s presence in worship and grow towards maturity in faith, Witnessing to Christ’s goodness should be a natural response. Just as we love to tell others about our favorite restaurant, school, or team, we should be excited about telling others about the work of freedom and transformation that Jesus has done in our lives. 

Wakening to Christ

In a culture where Worship, Walking, Working, and Witnessing to Christ abound, we desire to see others Waking to Christ as their Savior and Lord.  We would love to have you join us as you consider a personal relationship with Jesus and a place of belonging within a local church family. 

...So All the World Will  Know Christ

Ultimately, our hope is to see the promises of Scripture fulfilled, realizing the day when “every knee will bow, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.”
