Facilities Manager
John and his wife moved to Greenville in 2024 and have three children. He joined the GFMC staff in 2026 and oversees our facilities and custodial teams. Working largely behind the scenes, John helps care for the church's buildings and property, supports ministry events, and ensures that our spaces are clean, safe, and prepared to welcome everyone who walks through our doors.
Early Childhood/ Family Ministries Director
For more than two decades, Lisa has served GFMC through Early Childhood and Family Ministries. Her loving care for children and commitment to supporting families have helped generations of young disciples begin their journey of faith. She and her husband George have 5 children.
Marsha Busby
Office Assistant
Marsha has been part of the GFMC family since 1990. After generously volunteering countless hours in the church office, she joined the staff in 2026 and now serves part-time.
Greg Groves
Pastor of Senior Adults
Pastor Greg began serving as Pastor of Senior Adult Ministries in January 2024. He and his wife, Sue, have been part of the GFMC pastoral team since 1986. Previously serving in youth ministry, Greg has spent years helping people grow in their faith. He now focuses on caring for, encouraging, and connecting senior adults through pastoral ministry, fellowship, and discipleship opportunities.
Children and Prayer Pastor
Pastor Christie and her husband, David, have been part of the Greenville community since 1991, and Christie has served on the GFMC staff since 2005. As Pastor of Children and Prayer, she loves helping children know and follow Jesus while nurturing their faith through God's Word and prayer. She also leads the church's prayer ministry through prayer gatherings, classes, and special events, helping cultivate a culture where prayer is central to the life of the congregation.
Finance Administrator
Steph and her husband Zac live in Smithboro along with their two children (Abbie & Ben). She dove into the finance world in 2011 and has since been expanding her knowledge every day. She's worked with multiple organizations handling a variety of things from excel spreadsheets and reporting to hands on cash/check counting. Steph enjoys camping and boating in Carlyle throughout the summer.
Worship Design
Erin joined our team part-time in 2024 and serves by designing worship environments that help communicate the message of the Gospel and create space for people to connect with God.
Youth and Christian Formation Pastor
Pastor Jeremy grew up at GFMC and has deep roots in the church family. He and his wife served in several churches before returning to join the GFMC pastoral team in 2023. As our primary Youth Pastor, Jeremy leads ministries for middle and high school students, building relationships, teaching God's Word, mentoring young people, and helping them develop a lasting faith in Christ. He also serves as Pastor of Discipleship, providing leadership for small groups, classes, and other opportunities for spiritual growth. In addition, Jeremy oversees worship services, helping coordinate the many people and ministries involved in Sunday worship and ensuring that our gatherings point people toward Jesus.
Local/Global Missions Pastor
Justin is a returning Greenville resident, having grown up in Greenville as a kid, and graduating from Greenville College in 2016. After graduating, Justin got his start in ministry running an indoor Ferris Wheel and has spent the last 7 years in ministry around the Gateway Conference. Justin loves to see people experience wholeness in Christ. In his free time, he enjoys sports, reading, video games, hearing and sharing stories, and spending time with family and friends.
Nursery Coordinator
Heather has been our part-time Nursery Supervisor since 2003. For more than two decades, she has lovingly cared for babies and toddlers, coordinated nursery workers, and helped create a welcoming place where our youngest church members are known and loved.
Office Manager
Kim has been part of the GFMC family since 2002 and joined the staff in 2026 as Office Manager. She manages the church's weekly communications, keeps the office organized and operating efficiently, and supports both staff and volunteers in countless ways. As the friendly face at the front desk and the voice on the phone, Kim helps create a welcoming first impression for everyone who connects with GFMC.

Eric Watterson
AV/Production
Eric has been part of the GFMC family since 2023 and joined the staff in a part-time role leading our sound and technology teams. He coordinates volunteers and oversees the audio, video, and presentation systems that support worship and ministry throughout the church.
